  • free audio editing site
  • very easy to record voice
  • Click on record button to record and then stop to finish recording
  • Click the play button to play back recording
  • Highlight part of the blue waves and then click the backspace and you can edit out some of the recording
  • Highlight part of blue wave and go to effect and then change pitch. Can move pitch to the right and it sounds like a character.
  • Can use this program to record students reading. Students listen to themselves and this helps to improve reading.
  • Students can create a radio broadcast on the topics from class.
  • Open your audio file and drag a music file underneath the audio file.
  • Use the sliders to the left to increase or decrease the volume of the music or voice.
  • Time shift Tool - double arrow tool on toolbar - use this to drag your audio file to the right or left so it matches with the music better.
  • Envelope Tool - The double triangle icon on toolbar. Click on the top and bottom of the sound tracks and then click and drag them down to decrease music volume while speaking voice is on.
  • To save - File, Export and it defaults to a .wav file
  • Can download the LAME file so you can save this to other formats besides .wav
